The Surveillance
Video Information Server (SurVISTM) NVR (Network Video
Recorder) is the heart
of the VNS digital surveillance system as it serves not only as the
single point controller of the overall system but is also the
repository for the networked video archive.
The VNS SurVIS NVR platforms are performance leaders in
CIF per second processing and storage of digital video.
All SurVIS NVRs offer
a scalable system designed around specific functions necessary
in a Network Video Recorder.
Each solution is architected with redundancy in mind,
based on the most current fault tolerant technologies available.
Video
Surveillance systems
based on these platforms can be easily upgraded and expanded as
needs or growth demands. All VNS NVRs ship with Windows XP Pro and can be pre-installed
with digital video surveillance management software.
The LT08
series of NVRs are targeted for low-end digital video security applications which
require fewer than 10 cameras. These SurVIS NVRs are ideally suited for residential, small
retail or office, home construction sites, ATMs, or gated
community entrance applications.
The LT16
series of NVRs are targeted for mid-range digital video security
applications.
These SurVIS NVRs are ideally suited for parking
facilities, nursing homes, mid-size apartment complexes,
manufacturing lines, self-storage lots, strip mall retail
centers, office buildings, bank branch offices, reservoirs and
larger construction sites.
These applications generally may require fewer than 16
cameras with a 640 x 480 resolution (4 CIF).
However, a larger number of cameras may be deployed with
a 320 x 240 resolution (1 CIF).
The GT17
series is VNS’s high performance line of NVRs.
These SurVIS products are targeted for large camera count
digital video
security applications such as marinas, airports, casinos, correctional
facilities, shopping malls, large construction projects,
industrial facilities (i.e. chemical plants) and municipalities.
These high end networked surveillance systems provide the surveillance system
designer with 2000 CIF/sec of typical processing capability
which can be used for very high resolutions cameras (8 CIF) or a
large number of cameras.
