is please to announce the availability of the IP Camera Field Kit.
The solution allows installers to directly connect to the IP camera LAN port and perform in-situ
camera adjustments for focus, field of view and any other parameter available on the camera's web page.
At the heart
of the kit is a small Windows based appliance with a 5.7” touch screen monitor. The front panel is IP64 rated for outdoor use. The appliance includes a software program which when launched
will find the attached camera IP address and open its home page.
The software works with most IP cameras.
The kit includes the appliance, software, AC power adaptor, touch pen, rechargeable battery,
Cat 5 crossover cable and carrying case. The kit’s light weight,
less than 4 pounds, is idea for field work. “The
IP Camera Field Kit gives installers the ability to focus and set field of view at the
time of the camera is mounted”, said Graham Joys, President of ViSTA Networking Solutions.
“Many IP cameras do not have an analog output for camera adjustments.
This results in a cumbersome adjustment process which adds time to the overall installation.
The IP Camera Field Kit is an easy to use, light weight solution intended to work like analog field
monitors but with today’s advanced IP cameras.
The result is that an installer can place the camera, set it and not need to get back on
a ladder after the Network Video Recorder is set up.”
